About the Role
Autobonics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Robotics Service & Deployment Intern to support the installation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and field servicing of our humanoid robots.
The intern will work closely with the robotics and technical teams to ensure robots are properly configured, tested, delivered, and supported at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with robot installation, setup, configuration, and deployment at customer locations.
- Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, connectivity, and sensor-related issues.
- Support robot calibration, firmware/software updates, and system configuration.
- Assist in testing components such as motors, sensors, batteries, controllers, cameras, and communication modules.
- Support ROS/ROS2-based robotic systems and basic navigation-related testing.
- Assist with robot demonstrations and customer technical support.
- Conduct pre-dispatch quality checks and deployment readiness checks.
- Maintain records of service activities, testing results, issues, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with the internal technical team to escalate complex technical issues.
- Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment when required.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, service reports, checklists, and deployment guides.
- Follow safety procedures while handling robotic equipment and electrical/electronic components.
Required Skills
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
- Ability to work independently and handle field-level technical tasks.
- Basic understanding of Robotics, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Basic knowledge of sensors, motors, actuators, batteries, and electronic components.
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu is an advantage.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand technical manuals and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Candidates with academic projects or hands-on experience in robotics will be preferred.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
