Job description
- Operate and maintain kilns to ensure optimal performance and production.
- Monitor and control the temperature, pressure, and flow of gases in the kiln to meet desired products.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve production targets and resolve issues.
- Implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Troubleshoot problems with the kiln equipment and make necessary repairs.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a kiln service or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of kiln operations, including chemistry, physics, and engineering principles (Electrical & Mecahnical).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.
- Physical fitness (heat environment tolerance)
Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of kiln operation (rotary kiln)
- Understanding of temperature control systems
- Ability to monitor:
Ø Pressure
Ø Fuel flow
Ø Air flow
Ø Material feed rate
Ability to read gauges, control panels, and production reports
Key Responsibilities
Ø Start-up and shutdown of the kiln system
Ø Monitor kiln temperature and pressure
Ø Adjust fuel and air ratios
Ø Ensure product quality standards are met
Ø Record production data
Ø Identify operational abnormalities
Ø Coordinate with the maintenance team
Work Experience
- 5+ years in Conveyor kiln
Qualification : ITI / Diploma
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
