About One Root:-
One Root works closely with farmers by providing quality agricultural inputs, technical advisory services, and market linkages. We believe that agriculture grows best when farmers receive the right guidance at the right time. We are looking for energetic and field-oriented Agronomists who enjoy interacting with farmers, solving crop problems, and helping farmers improve their productivity while promoting One Root's agri-input products.
Key Responsibilities:-
Farm Advisory and Extension
Visit farmers' fields daily and provide crop-specific advisory services. Diagnose crop issues related to pests, diseases, nutrition, and irrigation. Recommend suitable solutions and best agricultural practices. Conduct field demonstrations and farmer awareness activities. Maintain records of farmer visits and advisory provided.
Farmer Relationship Building
Build strong relationships and trust with farmers. Regularly follow up on crop health and product performance. Expand farmer network and identify new farming clusters. Become the preferred agriculture advisor for farmers in the assigned territory.
Agri Input Sales
Promote and sell One Root's agricultural input products including fertilizers, bio-inputs, crop protection products, plant nutrition products, seeds, and other farm solutions. Generate sales through farmer engagement and advisory-based selling. Achieve monthly sales targets assigned by the company. Collect market feedback and identify new business opportunities.
Reporting and Coordination
Submit daily field activity and sales reports. Coordinate with store and management teams regarding farmer requirements. Support farmer meetings, training programs, and promotional activities.
Eligibility:-
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Agriculture
Diploma in Agriculture
M.Sc. Agriculture (Preferred)
Other agriculture-related qualifications may also be considered.
Experience
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Experience in agronomy, agri-input sales, farmer advisory, or rural marketing will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:-
Good knowledge of crops and agricultural practices.
Understanding of fertilizers, bio-inputs, and crop protection products.
Strong communication and farmer relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively in villages and farm locations.
Basic smartphone and reporting skills.
Kannada language proficiency is mandatory (ability to communicate effectively with farmers and local stakeholders).
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
