Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled PHP & WordPress Developer responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress development, database management, and front-end technologies to deliver efficient, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
- Build and modify WordPress themes, plugins, and templates as per business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code.
- Manage website updates, bug fixes, and performance optimization.
- Customize WordPress functionalities using hooks, APIs, and plugins.
- Develop responsive and SEO-friendly websites.
- Work on website integration with third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways.
- Manage MySQL databases, including queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure website security, backups, and regular maintenance.
- Improve website speed, performance, and user experience.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and other developers for project execution.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS.
- Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development/customization.
- Knowledge of WordPress security, optimization, and best practices.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with responsive web design.
- Familiarity with SEO practices and website performance optimization.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git is preferred.
- Ability to debug and solve technical issues independently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in PHP and WordPress development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
