Job Summary: As a Billing Executive, you will be responsible for managing the billing process within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for products or services provided to our customers. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate billing systems and software will contribute to maintaining the financial health of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Invoicing: Generate and issue invoices to customers based on the products or services delivered. Ensure that the invoices are accurate, complete, and aligned with the terms of the agreements or contracts.
- Customer Details: Enter and maintain customer information in the company's database or CRM system. Update customer records as needed and ensure data accuracy.
- Billing Systems: Utilize billing software and systems to process invoices efficiently and maintain an organized record of billing transactions.
- Stock Details: Work closely with the inventory team to provide stock information and availability to customers.
- Payment Processing: Oversee the receipt and processing of payments from customers. Ensure that payments are allocated correctly and that any outstanding balances are promptly followed up.
- Billing Disputes: Address billing-related inquiries and resolve any disputes or discrepancies that may arise. Collaborate with relevant departments or clients to clarify billing details and rectify errors.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of billing-related activities, payment history, and client information.
- Reporting: Generate regular billing reports for management, showcasing billing performance, outstanding balances, and any noteworthy trends or issues.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with billing policies, regulations, and standards, both internally and externally.
- Client Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients regarding billing matters. Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the billing process and work with relevant teams to implement more efficient and streamlined billing practices
