Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Site Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in construction site management. The candidate will be responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring project quality, monitoring progress, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within the scheduled timeline.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project managers.
- Verify measurements, levels, and quantities before execution of work.
Quality Control
- Ensure construction activities comply with quality standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of civil works such as excavation, foundation, concrete works, masonry, plastering, and finishing activities.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain quality inspection records and reports.
Planning & Coordination
- Review structural and architectural drawings and resolve technical issues at the site.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate material requirements with procurement and store departments.
- Assist in project scheduling and resource planning.
Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for workers.
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain site records, work logs, and progress reports.
- Prepare quantity calculations and verify contractor bills.
- Assist in preparation of work completion reports and project documentation.
- Record and report site issues, delays, and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building construction, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
