About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor who will help run our cloud kitchen on a day-to-day basis.
This is not a desk-based management role.
You will actively participate in food preparation, cooking, tasting, quality checks, packaging and kitchen operations, while also supervising a team of Kitchen Associates.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly, food tastes great, orders go out on time and the team works effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Food Quality
- Actively participate in food preparation and cooking.
- Ensure recipes, measurements, portion sizes and cooking processes are followed.
- Taste and check food for quality, consistency and presentation.
- Ensure food is prepared and packed within defined timelines.
- Identify and reduce food wastage.
2. Orders & Customer Service
- Manage incoming orders through POS, online platforms and direct channels.
- Ensure orders are accurate, properly packed and dispatched on time.
- Coordinate with delivery partners.
- Handle basic customer queries and complaints professionally.
3. Team Supervision
- Supervise and allocate daily responsibilities to a team of 5–6 Kitchen Associates.
- Prepare weekly staff schedules.
- Train team members on recipes, kitchen processes, hygiene and safety.
- Support new employees during their onboarding.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews with the Managing Partner.
4. Stock & Kitchen Management
- Monitor daily stock of ingredients and packaging materials.
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory records.
- Follow proper storage and FIFO practices.
- Inform the Managing Partner about purchase requirements.
- Monitor equipment and report maintenance requirements.
5. Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised and hygienic throughout operations.
- Ensure food safety and personal hygiene standards are followed.
- Ensure safe use of kitchen equipment.
- Take responsibility for overall kitchen safety during operations.
6. Daily Reporting
- Maintain daily records of orders, sales, stock and wastage.
- Reconcile orders across online platforms and direct sales.
- Report operational issues and suggest improvements.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
