BACKGROUND
The Hans Foundation, established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works for the improvement of quality of life for underprivileged communities across India through Health, Education, Livelihood and Disability sector interventions. THF undertakes direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing funding support to not-for-profit organisations in India through its donor – RIST, USA. THF’s Strategic planning focuses on key areas of its work with the aim of addressing the key issues of poverty alleviation, economic inequalities, and 360° impact on the quality of life through social development programs. THF’s programs are majorly implemented in the most rural and under-developed areas in the country. Over the years, THF has expanded its charitable activities in collaboration with State and Central Governments, institutions, corporates, academia, and non-government organizations for sustainable interventions to achieve scale and economy. The interventions implemented by the foundation range from grass root level to national level programs.

JOB PURPOSE
THF expects the Senior Associate to have knowledge of various HR functions. They will be responsible for delivering on the organization’s plans on recruitment, induction, training intervention planning, data management, employee engagement, performance management and other HR activities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.

Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers before initiating any search; review and update Job Descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Manage Keka ATS — maintain all requisitions, candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring outcomes; track weekly recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance).

Maintain a compliant recruitment filing system (digital and physical) — offer letters, scorecards, background checks, and requisition records — audit-ready at all times.
HR Operations & Employee Administration

Maintain accurate employee records on Keka HRMS across all lifecycle events (joining, confirmation, promotion, exit); manage leave records and monthly attendance.

Support payroll — update compensation inputs in Keka and ensure timely, accurate disbursement in coordination with finance.

Coordinate exit formalities and track full and final settlement status.
Performance Management

Administer the performance management cycle (goal-setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals).
- Coordinate with managers and employees on review timelines, documentation, and process communication.
Training, Employee Relations & MIS

Identify training needs, support development of the annual training calendar, and monitor programme delivery and feedback.

Address employee queries, grievances, and HR policy matters; support management-employee relations as needed.

Prepare and maintain HR MIS — Recruitment MIS, Employee MIS, headcount, and attrition reports — and generate periodic data from Keka for management review.
Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline.

MBA with HR specialization will be preferred.
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)

2 to 4 years’ total HR experience
- Preferably from Social Development sector
- Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)

Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels.

Ability to analyze, interpret and explain employment and other laws.
