Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse with 1+ years of experience in an Emergency Room/Casualty setting. The candidate will be responsible for providing prompt, safe, and effective nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate nursing care to patients arriving at the ER.
- Perform initial patient assessment and triage based on clinical urgency.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during emergency procedures and resuscitation.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and support CPR/Code Blue activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collect and send blood and other specimens for investigations.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and emergency protocols.
- Ensure availability and readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
- Provide appropriate communication and support to patients and attendants.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and ethical practices.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- 1+ years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in ER/Casualty.
- Valid Karnataka KNC/State Nursing Council registration.
- Good knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and patient care.
- Basic knowledge of BLS/ACLS preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
