MAHE, Manipal invites applications for the position of Operations Manager to support the Centre for Net Zero Research & Operations (C-NRO) at MIT Manipal Campus.
Qualification & Experience
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Sustainable Development, Architecture, Environmental Science/Management, Energy/Climate/Sustainability Studies, Urban Infrastructure/Planning, ESG/Carbon Management, Geology/Basic Science, or allied areas.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, ESG, carbon accounting, sustainability, net-zero/climate action planning, or infrastructure/environmental systems reporting.
- 3-5 years of industrial or implementation experience is essential.
Rs. 42,000 per month; appointment initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Centre Operations & Coordination: Coordinate annual plans, milestones, review mechanisms, and day-to-day Centre operations.
- Carbon Data & Net Zero Support: Lead collection, validation, management, and reporting of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data.
- MNZT & Pilot Implementation: Support the MAHE Net Zero Tool, dashboard integration, and pilot project execution.
- Stakeholder, Partnerships & Reporting: Facilitate collaboration, outreach, documentation, compliance, and administrative support for Centre activities.
Expected Competencies
- Strong project coordination and organizational ability.
- Working knowledge of carbon accounting, sustainability systems, and institutional reporting.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and data-management skills.
Pay: ₹42,000.00 per month
