Job Title: Restaurant Captain
Location: Pala Kitchen Restaurant
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring exceptional customer service, and coordinating between kitchen and service staff. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide service staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Greet and assist guests, ensuring a high-quality dining experience
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely and accurate order delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Train new staff and ensure adherence to service standards and protocols
- Monitor table turnover and reservation flow
- Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas
- Maintain inventory of service supplies (cutlery, glassware, etc.)
- Assist in implementing promotional activities and special events
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience with POS systems
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage
