Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting financial planning and analysis. The role requires strong expertise in accounting principles, taxation, audits, and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns within prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Keep updated with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Identify risks and recommend process improvements.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Analyze financial performance and prepare management reports.
- Support management with financial insights and recommendations.
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgets.
Team Management
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Review accounting entries and reports prepared by team members.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the accounting function.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
- 3–5 years of accounting and finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally, Busy, ERP systems, and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

- Timely completion of month-end and year-end closing.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
