About Us
AirBooking Travel & Tours Pvt. Ltd. is a newly established IATA travel agency based in Calicut, Kerala. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Travel Agency Manager to lead our day-to-day operations and help build a customer-focused, high-performing travel business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the travel agency.
- Lead and supervise the team handling Flight Reservations, Holidays, Hotels, Visa Services, Corporate Travel and Customer Support.
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop new business opportunities in leisure, corporate, group and international travel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, DMCs, corporate clients and travel partners.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve escalated customer issues.
- Monitor operational performance, productivity and service quality through established KPIs.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to improve efficiency.
- Recruit, train, mentor and develop the operations team.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure proper financial controls and profitability.
- Prepare regular business performance reports for management and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated with airline policies, travel regulations, industry trends and new business opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an IATA-accredited travel agency, including experience in a Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic airfare ticketing, GDS, visa services, holiday packages and corporate travel.
- Valid IATA/UFTAA Travel & Tourism qualification or equivalent travel industry certification is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Global Distribution System (Amadeus, Galileo/Travelport or Sabre).
- Excellent leadership, people management and decision-making skills.
- Strong sales, business development and customer relationship management experience.
- Good understanding of travel agency operations, reporting and financial management.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Malayalam and Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel reservation systems.
