Indira Priyadarshini School, J. P. Nagar, is looking for Music teachers, for its Primary and Middle School (1 to 8).
Candidates should have a love for teaching and should be passionate about music.
Responsibilities
- Teach basics of music theory, including pitch, melody and rhythm, across all grades and different skill levels.
- Should have good command of English, and be able to teach popular grade-appropriate English songs.
- Train students to deliver high-quality performances in school events and competitions
- Train IPS choir.
- Use a lesson plan-based approach for teaching adhering to IPS standards.
- Conduct assessments.
Requirements:
- Appropriate diploma or certification in music.
- Teachers able to teach Music with movement are desired.
- Prior work experience (1+ years) in a reputed CBSE/ICSE institution (primary or middle grades) is desired.
- Freshers with high motivation for learning can be considered for entry level position.
- Knowledge of appropriate pedagogy.
