Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled AutoCAD & Drawing Engineer to prepare accurate technical drawings, manufacturing layouts, and engineering documentation in accordance with project and production requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong AutoCAD knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and coordination skills with cross-functional departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise 2D/3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Develop fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings as per engineering standards.
- Interpret engineering concepts, specifications, and production requirements into detailed drawings.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Project teams for drawing approvals and modifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of engineering drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with technical standards, dimensions, and quality requirements.
- Support production teams by providing technical clarifications whenever required.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and related documentation when necessary.
- Continuously improve drawing accuracy and design efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering drafting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical/manufacturing drawings and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and layouts.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- AutoCAD certification will be considered an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical and AutoCAD knowledge may also apply.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
