Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber with 1–3 years of experience in the hotel industry to maintain and repair plumbing systems across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, restaurants, banquet facilities, and back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted water supply, drainage, and sanitary services while delivering prompt maintenance support to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures throughout the hotel.
- Attend plumbing complaints from guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, banquet halls, public areas, and staff facilities in a timely manner.
- Repair and replace taps, faucets, mixers, wash basins, toilets, urinals, showers, flush valves, pipes, and water fittings.
- Perform preventive maintenance of plumbing systems according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.
- Inspect pumps, water tanks, valves, pipelines, and sewage systems to ensure proper operation.
- Diagnose plumbing faults and complete repairs with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing breakdowns and water leakage issues.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance team during renovation and repair projects.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of plumbing materials.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety standards, hygiene regulations, and statutory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification: 10th Pass (ITI in Plumbing or equivalent technical certification preferred).
- 1–3 years of plumbing experience in hotels, resorts, hospitals, or commercial buildings.
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, sanitary fittings, pumps, water distribution systems, and drainage networks.
- Ability to read basic plumbing layouts and maintenance drawings.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per hotel operations.
Skills Required
- Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
