Hands-on experience in DC/DC SMPS and Linear power
supply design preferably flyback, buck converter, linear
regulator, and series pass regulator design
- Strong experience in component selection skills like
resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, mosfets, IGBT, Gate
Drive, Over current/ Voltage protection circuits.
- Experience in design for EMI-EMC compliance, resolution of
EMI-EMC issues.
- Experience in doing detailed design calculations of currents
& voltages across each component in design.
- Ability to use Test & Measuring instruments like Power
Supplies, DSO, Logic Analyzer, Power Analyzer, etc.
- Doing necessary Engineering documentation like test plans,
test reports, ECN, Hardware Design Document , derating
document etc.. .
- Research the use of new development concepts and guide
future product development.
- Identifying technological alternatives that are
cost-competitive and suitable for scaling up.
- Good understanding of magnetics design (inductor,
transformer etc.) for power electronics application.
