General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the application development team to maintain, enhance, and scale the product for enterprise use.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance solutions using cloud technologies and containerization.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, following SOLID principles and best practices.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on Test-DrivenDevelopment (TDD), ensuring comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Ensure software designs comply with specifications and security best practices.
- Contribute ideas to improve application maintainability and performance under the guidance of senior engineers.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and ship product features end-to-end—spanning UI components, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure—with increasing autonomy and technical ownership
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, highly available systems using Amazon Web Services, Docker, and Terraform
- Establish and maintain software quality through robust CI/CD pipelines, comprehensive test automation, and code quality standards
- Investigate and resolve production issues, conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions and performance optimizations
- Monitor production systems, triage alerts/incidents, and drive root cause analysis through to resolution
- Act as a frontline responder for customer-reported issues—own the problem until the customer is unblocked and the system is stable
- Apply system design patterns including micro-service architecture and ild reliable, scalable solutions
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning, contributing to technical excellence within the team
AI-Powered Development Responsibilities:
- Integrate AI-powered tools like Anthropic Claude and frameworks to enhance code quality and development efficiency.
- Utilize AI-driven analytics to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Implement AI-based security measures to proactively detect and mitigate potential threats.
- Leverage AI for automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)processes.
- Support the adoption and effective use of AI agents for automating repetitive development, deployment, and testing processes within the engineering team.
- Utilize AI-assisted debugging platforms to accelerate issue identification and resolution in production environments.
- Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques to generate infrastructure backend service scaffolding
- Evaluate and implement agentic AI tools that enhance developer workflows, including automated test generation, intelligent code review assistance, and deployment automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from an Indian University
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a product company
- Min one year AI/ML experience
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript
- TypeScript/React development: React 18+, hooks(useState, useEffect, useContext), WebSocket clients
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying web applications, with frontend and backend development
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including scalability and enterprise cloud.
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with security best practices in web and API development.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Strong database experience, focused on query optimization
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for code quality and system reliability—you don’t wait to be asked to fix something you notice is broken
- Self-directed learning ability with capacity to independently research

AI-Specific Qualifications:
- Practical experience with prompt engineering and LLM response optimization
- Knowledge of AI-driven development tools and platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot in Agentic Mode.
- Knowledge of AI-based security protocols and threat detection systems.
- Experience integrating GenAI or Agentic AI agents into full-stack workflows (e.g., using AI for code reviews, automated bug fixes, or system monitoring).
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering for code generation, testing, or documentation.
Preferred Experience:
– Hands-on experience with AWS services—Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS
– Practical knowledge of containerization (Docker) and infrastructure-a
– Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
– Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema
– Frontend development experience with React or similar modern frameworks
– Backend API development using Node.js
– Comfortable reading/writing Python for scripting and automation
– Experience with micro-services architecture and distributed systems
