Description:
The role is responsible for supporting engineering operations across the organization with a focus on operation, monitoring, and optimization of utility systems critical to pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role ensures quality, safety, reliability, cost, timeliness, and performance standards are consistently achieved. It performs routine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of utilities, interprets engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications, and contributes to data analysis, documentation, and compliance activities. The position monitors utility performance outcomes to meet technical, functional, cost, and schedule targets, supports regulatory and audit requirements, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated production environment.
Essential Functions:
- Operate and monitor utility systems to ensure compliance and reliability
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Perform utility troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and P&IDs
- Analyze utility performance and operational data
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational logs
- Support validation, qualification, and audit readiness activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and support vendor activities
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
