Job Summary
Lakmé Academy Powered by Aptech is looking for a passionate and experienced Makeup Trainer to inspire and train aspiring makeup artists. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in professional makeup, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring students while maintaining industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory and practical sessions as per the Lakmé Academy curriculum.
- Train students in Basic, Advanced, Bridal, HD, Airbrush, Fashion, Editorial, and Creative Makeup techniques.
- Demonstrate professional makeup applications and latest industry trends.
- Conduct practical assessments and monitor student progress.
- Guide students in portfolio development and career readiness.
- Ensure classroom discipline, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
- Organize workshops, demonstrations, and live model practice sessions.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty products, techniques, and fashion trends.
- Maintain attendance records, training reports, and assessment documentation.
- Collaborate with the Centre Head and Academic team to ensure high training quality.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Advanced Certification in Professional Makeup or Cosmetology from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Professional Makeup Artist or Makeup Trainer.
- Strong knowledge of Bridal, HD, Airbrush, Fashion, Editorial, and Celebrity Makeup.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate students.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining training records.
Experience: 2–5 years (Preferred)
Education: Diploma/Certification in Makeup or Cosmetology (Required)
Location: Bengaluru - Rajajeshwari nagar
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
