Your impact
In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
JD - Engineer – Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer:
Review and understand the scope of works along with BOQ (based on contract provided by client) and contract conditions.
Verify and certify the measurements (based on IFC drawings, tender document and IS codes), quantities and amount in the running bills and final bills submitted by the contractor and recommend for payment.
Ensure all quality/supporting documents (QC check sheets as per QAP/ITP, JMR) are provided by contractor along with RA bills.
Verify and certify the Bar Bending Schedule before cutting and bending of rebar
Maintain record of the measurements certified.
Ensure maintaining joint records for any deviation from IFC drawings prior to certifying the invoices.
Alert the client and Jacobs PM if there is any growth in the quantities mentioned in BOQ.
Initiate change note process if there are any non- tendered items to be executed. Verify and recommend the rate analysis submitted by the contractor for non-tendered items.
Periodically update and circulate forecast estimated cost based on the drawings released and comparison with tender value.
Prepare reconciliation statement.
Co-ordinate with contractor and prepare cash flow projections.
Should have specific experience of supervising Finishes of Paint / Industrial projects.
Candidates must be good in written and verbal communication.
Here's what you'll need
Graduate in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical with 10 to15 years in a leading position including working in PMC /EPCM role. Candidates from Consultancy background would be preferred . Alternatively experience with large EPC contractors. Must be very good in written and verbal communication with leadership skill.
