Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Software Developer (Java) who combines strong backend engineering skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders. This role goes beyond pure development and requires ownership of both technical delivery and client interactions. You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems while also acting as a technical point of contact for customers, ensuring successful implementations and high quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop scalable, high-performance microservices • Own backend services across the Hudini SaaS platform • Work on production systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and stability • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues • Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and delivery teams • Contribute to architecture decisions and system improvements • Ensure clean code, maintainability, and engineering best practices • Act as a technical interface for clients during implementations and ongoing engagements • Participate in client discussions, requirement clarifications, and solutioning • Translate client requirements into technical designs and deliverables • Handle client escalations and production issues with ownership and accountability • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Work closely with Customer Engagement Managers (CEMs) and delivery teams Requirements: • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture • Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) • Familiarity with: Docker (containerization), Messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ), Caching (Redis) • Experience with API management tools (e.g., Tibco Mashery or similar) • Understanding of deployment processes and environments • Strong backend ownership mindset • Ability to balance: Engineering excellence, Client expectations and timelines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability in client stakeholder management • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment • Strong focus on: Scalability, Performance, System reliability Why Join Us: • Be part of a global SaaS product used by luxury hotels worldwide. • Take end-to-end ownership of features while leading and mentoring a talented team. • Work on challenging, large-scale engineering problems in a dynamic, fast-growing company. • A culture that values innovation, collaboration, and impact.
