Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electrician – Projects to execute and manage electrical installation activities at commercial interior fitout project sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial electrical works, site execution, troubleshooting, and coordination with project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and quality electrical installations.
The candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical wiring, lighting systems, power distribution, fixtures installation, testing, and coordination with MEP teams during turnkey interior projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Execution & Site Installation
- Execute day-to-day electrical installation works at commercial interior fitout project sites.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems as per approved drawings and project requirements.
- Carry out:
- Lighting installation (LED fixtures, downlights, spotlights, profile lights, decorative lights)
- Power points, switches, sockets, and accessories installation
- DB (Distribution Board) installation and connections
- Cable laying, conduiting, trunking, and cable management works
- Electrical equipment and appliance connections
- Furniture-integrated electrical fittings
- Ensure proper routing and concealment of electrical wiring as per interior standards.
Project Coordination & Execution Support
- Coordinate with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, MEP Contractors, and other site teams.
- Understand electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and service drawings.
- Support execution as per project schedules and deadlines.
- Ensure availability and proper usage of electrical materials and tools.
- Assist in electrical modifications and site requirements during execution.
Testing, Quality & Safety
- Perform electrical testing including:
- Continuity testing
- Insulation resistance testing
- Voltage checking
- Phase identification
- Load testing
- Ensure electrical installations comply with safety standards and project specifications.
- Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and complete corrective actions.
- Follow all site safety practices including PPE usage and safe working procedures.
Project Completion & Handover Support
- Assist in final testing and commissioning activities.
- Resolve electrical snags before project handover.
- Ensure all electrical points and fixtures are operational before client inspection.
- Support preparation of completion checklists and handover documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in commercial electrical works, preferably in interior fitout projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical wiring systems
- Lighting installation
- Power distribution
- Electrical accessories
- Commercial site execution
- Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with project teams.

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience & capability)
