Motherhood Hospital is a leading women and child healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional maternity, gynecology, neonatal, and pediatric services. We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented IP/OP Billing Executive & OP Coordinator to ensure seamless patient registration, billing, and outpatient coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesBilling Responsibilities
- Generate accurate Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) bills in accordance with hospital policies.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient demographics in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Process admissions, transfers, discharges, and final settlements.
- Handle advance collections, deposits, refunds, and payment reconciliation.
- Coordinate with insurance/TPA teams for cashless approvals and billing documentation, where applicable.
- Verify billing accuracy for investigations, pharmacy, procedures, room charges, and consultant fees.
- Prepare daily billing reports and maintain financial records.
- Ensure compliance with billing procedures, hospital policies, and audit requirements.
OP Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate OPD appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Welcome and guide patients and attendants throughout the consultation process.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling, follow-up visits, and referrals.
- Address patient queries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Support front office operations during peak hours.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- Certification or experience in Hospital Billing/Hospital Administration is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Hospital IP/OP Billing, Front Office, or Patient Coordination.
- Experience in a multi-specialty or women and child healthcare hospital is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS) and billing software.
- Strong understanding of IP and OP billing processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
