JOB PURPOSE:
One of the key divisions of Intertek, Soflines is known for providing comprehensive range of quality related services worldwide. It has a global network of qualified and experienced personnel which helps in providing quick and professional response to project requirement. In the business of providing testing certification and inspection services for various consumer goods the division majorly deals with providing services in line with quality assurance and approval to the client’s product as per client’s requirement.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination
- Coordinate with Regional Mangers / Internal teams, clients and vendors for all related activities.
- Create Back up for every function
- Over seeing smooth functioning of the Department.
- Scheduling of Inspections as per customer / supplier requirement.
- Able to work under pressure
Ensuring
- Adherence to the developed SOPs and standards.
- Brand loyalty amongst the customers and employees is maintained.
Training
- Responsible for training & development of subordinates
- Performing training seminars (CPI)
Handling MIS
- Responsible for handling management information system
- Collecting relevant information
- Analyzing and initiating corrective actions whenever required
Measured upon:
- Extent of adherence to norms and standards
- Increase in efficiency of overall inspection process due to extent of coordination.
- Increase in efficiency and competencies of employees trained( as per feedback received)
- Increase in business revenue due to timely corrective actions taken as per MIS reports.
- Extent of adherence to statement of purpose and extent of service provided in conformance with SOP.
Business and Revenue Objectives
- Revenue Generation through Supplier Training
- Supporting Senior managers by exploring business within the allocated resources
- Continuously work with his team for business development by identifying new opportunities and developing new services
IDEAL BACKGROUND:
Experience: 10 years of years of work experience in relevant field
Education: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma preferably in textile manufacturing
