Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cardiac Anaesthetist to join our cardiac surgery program. The candidate will play a key role in administering anaesthesia for cardiac surgical procedures and managing post-operative cardiac ICU patients.
The role requires clinical expertise in cardiac anesthesia, perioperative monitoring, and critical care management of cardiac surgery patients.
Key Responsibilities
Cardiac Surgery Support
- Administer anaesthesia for various cardiac procedures including:
- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery)
- Valve replacement surgeries
- Minimally invasive cardiac surgeries
- Other cardiothoracic procedures
- Perform pre-operative anaesthesia evaluation and risk assessment.
ICU & Critical Care Management
- Manage Cardiac Surgical ICU patients post-operatively.
- Monitor hemodynamic parameters including arterial lines, central lines, and cardiac output monitoring.
- Manage ventilated patients and advanced cardiac life support protocols.
- Work closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, perfusionists, and nursing teams.
Clinical Duties
- Manage intraoperative anaesthesia and ensure patient safety.
- Assist in trans-oesophageal echocardiography (TEE) monitoring when required.
- Maintain anesthesia records and documentation as per hospital protocols.
- Participate in cardiac emergency management and rapid response.
Quality & Protocol Compliance
- Follow NABH and hospital clinical protocols.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and case discussions.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and ICU protocols.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
- MD / DNB in Anaesthesiology
- Fellowship or exposure in Cardiac Anaesthesia (preferred)
Skills Required
- Expertise in cardiac anaesthesia techniques
- Crisis management in cardiac OT
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
