Job Summary
The Front Office Executive is responsible for managing the hospital reception, providing excellent patient service, handling registrations, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth front office operations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Register new patients and update patient information accurately in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Schedule, confirm, and manage OPD appointments.
- Handle patient admissions, discharges, and billing coordination as per hospital procedures.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate departments.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Verify patient documents, insurance details, and required forms.
- Maintain accurate records of patient registrations, appointments, and daily reports.
- Collect payments and issue receipts, if assigned.
- Address patient concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate authority.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and patient-friendly.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
- Perform shift handovers with complete documentation and pending work updates.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Front Office Executive in a hospital or healthcare organization.
- Knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS) and MS Office.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathhi language.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle patients with empathy and professionalism.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary
