Job Summary
DNA Academy is seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Advisor to guide prospective and existing students through their educational journey(Freshers are also Welcome). The ideal candidate will counsel students on healthcare and professional training programs, support admissions activities, maintain student relationships, and contribute to enrollment growth. DNA Academy emphasizes personalized student support and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and academic pathways.
- Conduct admission counseling through phone calls, walk-ins, online meetings, and follow-ups.
- Convert inquiries into enrollments through effective counseling and relationship building.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, admissions, and student interactions.
- Coordinate with faculty and academic teams to ensure a positive student experience.
- Support orientation programs and student engagement initiatives.
- Address student concerns and provide guidance throughout the learning process.
- Achieve monthly admission and enrollment targets.
- Participate in educational seminars, career guidance programs, and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, student advising, or educational sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate academic guidance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/student management systems.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the education, coaching, healthcare training, or skill development sector.
- Proven track record in student admissions and counseling.
- Strong presentation and relationship-management skills.
