An Assembly Line Operator constructs, assembles, and checks products on a production line according to technical specifications, drawings, or schematics. They operate machinery, utilize hand/power tools, and inspect finished goods for quality defects to ensure production targets are met efficiently while adhering strictly to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and Production: Assembling parts, modules, and components into finished products such as electronics, automobiles, or appliances.
- Quality Inspection: Checking components and completed products for defects and quality standards to ensure a "zero-defect" culture.
- Equipment Operation: Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform repetitive tasks, such as wiring, fastening, or soldering.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of daily productivity, material usage, and maintenance adjustments.
- Safety Compliance: Following company procedures, safety guidelines, and 5S standards to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Line Troubleshooting: Stopping the assembly line if machinery malfunctions or a major defect is detected.
