Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Assistant for our food manufacturing unit who will support the Quality team in maintaining food safety standards, handling documentation, and assisting during internal and external audits. The candidate will ensure compliance with quality processes, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities in the manufacturing unit.
- Support in preparation and handling of audit documents for internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Maintain records related to food safety, hygiene, production, and quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and other food safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of production and packaging areas.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are followed.
- Assist in sample collection, testing coordination, and reporting.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices on the production floor.
- Maintain daily quality reports and documentation.
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation after audits or quality issues.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
- Understanding of audit processes and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and documentation handling.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing quality or audit support role preferred.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, or FSSC standards.
Pay: ₹8,376.50 - ₹37,223.82 per month
