Sr. Automation Tester (Robot Framework)

The Sr. Automation Tester with Robot Framework will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications within the pharma industry. As a key member of the quality assurance team, this professional will drive test automation efforts, contribute to the development and maintenance of robust test suites, and support regulatory compliance. Detailed Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework for pharma industry applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Analyze functional and technical specifications to develop effective automation strategies.
Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to life sciences and healthcare.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements.
Prepare and present test results, metrics, and progress reports to stakeholders.
Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting best practices in automation and quality assurance.
Skill Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in test automation with Robot Framework, preferably in the pharma or life sciences domain.
Strong knowledge of Python and related scripting languages.
Hands-on experience with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP) in healthcare software testing.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global, collaborative team
Key Responsibilities
1. To create( & review ) the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
2. To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases..
3. To contributes while test plans are developed as per the work assigned.
4. To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates).
5. To schedule the tasks and report.
