Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and result-oriented Team Lead – Inside Sales who will lead a
team of 4–6 Business Development Executives (BDEs). The primary responsibility is to
maximise team productivity, revenue, and customer experience by coaching team members,
monitoring performance, ensuring sales process adherence, and driving daily execution.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about sales coaching, performance management,
and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
● Lead and manage a team of 4–6 Inside Sales Executives.
● Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
● Conduct daily huddles and performance reviews.
● Ensure individual accountability towards assigned KPIs.
● Motivate the team through continuous coaching and recognition.
Sales Performance Management
● Monitor daily revenue and conversion metrics.
● Track productivity including:
○ Talk Time
○ Calls Connected
○ Follow-up Completion
○ Conversion %
○ Revenue Achievement
● Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
● Ensure timely achievement of team sales targets.
Call Quality & Coaching
● Review sales calls regularly.
● Provide structured feedback on:
○ Pitching
○ Objection Handling
○ Closing Techniques
● Conduct role plays and mock calls.
● Improve overall call quality and customer experience.
Follow-up & CRM Management
● Ensure every lead is updated properly in LeadSquared CRM.
● Monitor follow-up adherence and lead ageing.
● Ensure zero leakage of hot leads.
● Improve lead conversion through disciplined follow-up management.
Training & Development
● Train new joiners on:
○ Products
○ Sales Process
○ CRM Usage
○ Calling Tools
○ Sales Scripts
● Conduct refresher training for existing team members.
● Share best practices and successful sales approaches.
Process Excellence
● Ensure adherence to company sales processes.
● Maintain CRM hygiene and data accuracy.
● Monitor attendance, login hours, and productivity.
● Ensure compliance with internal policies.
Reporting & Analysis
● Prepare daily and weekly performance reports.
● Analyse team performance trends.
● Share action plans for underperforming team members.
● Highlight opportunities to improve sales efficiency.

Required Skills
● Strong Inside Sales experience.
● Excellent coaching and mentoring ability.

● Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
● Good understanding of CRM systems (LeadSquared preferred).
● Strong team management capabilities.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
● 3–4 years of Inside Sales experience.
● Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a sales team.
● Experience in EdTech, Banking, Education, or B2C Sales is preferred.

What Success Looks Like
Within the first 60 days, the Team Lead should be able to:
● Independently manage a team of 4–6 BDEs.
● Improve team productivity and conversion.
● Maintain excellent CRM discipline.
● Deliver consistent sales target achievement.
● Reduce lead leakage through effective follow-up management.
● Coach low performers into consistent contributors.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
