JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and versatile Project & Operation Coordinator to join our team at MTJ World Packaging in Sachin, Surat, Gujarat. This role demands a reliable combination of project tracking, strict vendor management, administrative synchronization, and a baseline practical understanding of packaging fabrication.
The successful candidate will act as a vital bridge between office planning and physical execution ensuring materials are sourced efficiently, external workshop timelines are aggressively maintained, and packaging projects are delivered with extreme punctuality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vendor Follow-ups & Coordination: Drive relentless daily tracking with local workshops, artisans, and material vendors regarding open orders, ongoing production stages, and component sourcing.
- Timeline Ownership & On-Time Delivery: Assume complete responsibility for the operational pipeline from design sign-off to final quality check. Ensure all orders are dispatched strictly on time.
- Field Operations & Travel: Maintain absolute readiness to travel anywhere across Surat or out of station to meet vendors, vet raw materials, check design compliance, and supervise physical production.
- Administrative Logging: Manage daily administrative records, update project logs accurately using computer applications, and format structured reporting updates.
- Design & Structural Alignment: Utilize a foundational understanding of graphic layouts and structural measurements to reliably interpret drafts for physical production teams.
- Willingness to Learn: Adapt rapidly to new design workflows, assembly methods, hardware systems, and project tools as demonstrated by the management team.
REQUIREMENTS & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Industry Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience directly inside a packaging company, specifically dealing with boxes, cases, or general industrial/commercial packaging.
- Material Familiarity: Solid foundational exposure to wood-based carpentry layouts, locks, hinges, and specialized decorative leather pasting methods.
- Computer Literacy: Fluent with general computer operations and comfortable utilizing Microsoft Excel for maintaining precise vendor records, delivery matrices, and product lists.
- Core Competencies: Superior persistent follow-up skills, assertive communication capabilities, an analytical eye for structural design alignment, and an eagerness to absorb advanced trade skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
