Role description
PLM: SAP PLM Consultant with 8 to 10 years of experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PLM functional specifications
- Support end-to-end product development and lifecycle processes, including engineering change management, document management, BOM management, and variant configuration
- Knowledge / experience of using PLMSI component in S4 to integrate external PLM data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product data management and process efficiency
- Integrate SAP PLM with related SAP modules such as SAP MM, PP, SD, and QM
- Provide support for data migration, system enhancements, and production issue resolution
- Drive workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Ensure solutions align with automotive industry standards and best practices
- Prepare documentation, training materials, and user support guides
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP PLM consulting or implementation
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP PLM processes and configuration
- Experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of engineering and product development processes
- Knowledge of BOM, document management, change management, and material master integration
- Experience with SAP integration across functional modules
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
