Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Location Manager – Audit to oversee financial controls and audit-related activities at film shooting locations. The role involves monitoring production expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, verifying financial transactions, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with production and finance teams to ensure transparent and efficient financial operations throughout the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit day-to-day financial transactions at shooting locations.
- Verify production expenses, petty cash, vendor payments, travel expenses, accommodation costs, and other location-related expenditures.
- Ensure all expenses are supported by valid invoices, bills, approvals, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare daily, weekly, and production-wise expense reports.
- Conduct periodic audits of cash handling, inventory, and asset utilization at shooting locations.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with production managers, line producers, finance teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, and payment requests for financial accuracy and compliance.
- Identify financial risks, process gaps, and recommend corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in internal, statutory, and project audits by providing supporting documentation and audit reports.
- Monitor budget utilization and report cost variances to management.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial information and production-related data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CA Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in audit, finance, or production accounting, preferably within the film, television, media, or entertainment industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, and financial controls.
- Experience in production accounting and budget monitoring.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced production environments and travel to shooting locations as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP/accounting software, and expense management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with film productions, television serials, OTT content, commercials, or live events.
- Knowledge of production budgeting, vendor management, and location expense controls.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours based on production schedules.
Pay: ₹300,457.61 - ₹350,000.00 per year
