Brief About the Role
Study Alpha Academy is an educational coaching and mentoring institute that provides academic guidance, structured preparation, study materials, mentoring, and personalized support to students preparing for various academic and competitive examinations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Academic Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding available courses, academic programs, admission procedures, and suitable learning plans.
Area and Scope of Work
- Counselling students and parents regarding available courses and academic programs.
- Understanding students' academic needs, goals, strengths, and areas requiring improvement.
- Recommending suitable courses or learning programs based on students' requirements.
- Explaining course structure, study methodology, schedules, fees, and admission procedures.
- Following up with prospective students and parents regarding admissions and enquiries.
- Maintaining regular communication with students and parents.
- Supporting students in developing appropriate academic goals and study plans.
- Monitoring student engagement and progress and communicating relevant concerns to parents or the academic team.
- Maintaining records of enquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Coordinating with teachers, mentors, and the administrative team when required.
- Providing basic academic and motivational guidance to students.
- Assisting in student retention and building positive relationships with students and parents.

The role involves a combination of student counselling, parent communication, academic guidance, enquiry handling, follow-ups, and coordination with the academic team.
