Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
CTC: ₹40–60 LPA
Reporting To: CEO / Managing Director
About the Company
We are a Public Private Partnership(PPP) Organization specializing in the Auction-based buying and selling of pre-owned vehicles. We successfully conduct large-scale monthly vehicle auctions in Pune and Mumbai, bringing together a network of buyers, sellers, dealers, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.
Having successfully completed 22+ auctions, with participation from 80+ buyers and sellers per event, we are now expanding our business operations and pursuing a large-scale Government-backed Dealer Authorization Certificate (DAUC) Project commence from 1st August 2026, aimed at digitizing and streamlining the vehicle ownership transfer and RTO ecosystem.
To support our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial vision, governance, capital planning, and business expansion initiatives.
About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for driving financial strategy, business planning, regulatory compliance, fundraising, investor relations, treasury management, and financial risk oversight.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of corporate finance expertise, strategic leadership, operational understanding, and experience scaling high-growth businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and budgeting.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
- Drive fundraising, investor relations, and banking partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial models, profitability analysis, and business forecasts.
- Evaluate expansion opportunities, new business initiatives, and government projects.
- Establish strong financial controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA (Chartered Accountant) mandatory, MBA Finance preferred.
- CFA
- CMA
- 8-10+ years of experience in Finance, Corporate Finance, Fundraising, or Financial Leadership.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance, Head of Finance, etc.).
- Experience in Automotive, Auto Auctions, FinTech, Technology Platforms, Government Projects, or High-Growth Businesses preferred.
