Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting Customers
- Welcome guests politely when they arrive.
- Guide them to their table and provide menus.
- Taking Orders
- Listen carefully to customer orders.
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials.
- Enter orders into the system or pass them to the kitchen.
- Serving Food and Drinks
- Deliver food and beverages to the correct table.
- Ensure presentation and order accuracy.
- Customer Service
- Check on customers during the meal.
- Handle complaints politely and quickly.
- Provide additional items such as water, napkins, or condiments.
- Billing and Payments
- Prepare and present the bill.
- Process cash, card, or digital payments.
- Table Maintenance
- Clear used plates and glasses.
- Clean and reset tables for the next customers.
- Team Coordination
- Communicate with kitchen staff and other waiters.
- Help colleagues during busy hours.
