Job Title: Experience Purchase Head
Experience: 2–5 years
Industry: Leather Manufacturing / Leather Goods Exports
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities for a leather manufacturing unit.
- China fitting sourcing, software backend for all materials such as fitting lining zippers
- Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, quality and delivery terms.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain proper purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores and Accounts departments for material requirements.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and ensure materials meet required quality standards.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase reports and inventory-related documentation.
- Monitor pending orders and ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for production.
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate with 2–5 years of relevant Purchase experience in a Leather Manufacturing Company.
- Good knowledge of leather, accessories, chemicals and other manufacturing materials will be preferred.
- Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase-related documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers.
