Job Title: Truck Driver (Immediate joiner will be preferred)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate should have a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) licence, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company trucks to transport goods to assigned destinations.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials as per schedule.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
- Maintain trip logs, fuel records, toll receipts, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload goods safely or supervise loading activities.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, delays, or maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers for smooth operations.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain customer acknowledgements upon delivery.
Candidate Profile:
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence.
- Minimum 8-10 years of truck driving experience.
- Good knowledge of highways, routes, and transport regulations.
- Ability to travel long distances and work flexible shifts.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physically fit with a responsible and safety-focused attitude.
- Good communication and time management skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Minimum 10th Pass (Preferred)
- Experience: 8 to 10 Years
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Licence: Valid HMV/Commercial Driving Licence (Mandatory)
