Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Accessories Manager to lead the accessories business at our passenger vehicle dealership. The role is responsible for driving accessory sales, managing inventory, ensuring product availability, coordinating installations, and maximizing accessory revenue while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and implement strategies to increase genuine accessories sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual accessory sales targets.
- Promote accessories during new vehicle sales and after-sales service interactions.
- Design attractive accessory packages and promotional campaigns to increase sales penetration.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell accessories to customers.
Inventory Management
- Plan and maintain optimum inventory levels of genuine accessories.
- Monitor stock movement and reorder fast-moving items to avoid stock-outs.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Minimize dead stock and optimize inventory turnover.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of accessories.
Customer Experience
- Assist customers in selecting accessories based on their preferences and vehicle model.
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and installation timelines.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints efficiently.
- Ensure timely installation and delivery of accessories.
Operations & Installation
- Coordinate with workshop and PDI teams for accessory fitment.
- Ensure all installations meet OEM quality and safety standards.
- Monitor installation schedules to support timely vehicle deliveries.
- Ensure proper documentation of accessory sales and installations.
Vendor & OEM Coordination
- Coordinate with OEMs and approved vendors for procurement of genuine accessories.
- Negotiate with suppliers for pricing, delivery schedules, and stock availability where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
Team Management
- Supervise accessory sales executives, store personnel, and installation staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct product knowledge and sales training for dealership staff.
- Motivate the team to achieve departmental objectives.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, profitability, and stock ageing.
- Monitor accessory penetration rates on new vehicle sales.
- Ensure compliance with dealership processes, warranty policies, and audit requirements.

Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in accessories sales, spare parts, or dealership operations.
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in a passenger vehicle dealership is highly preferred.
