Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Purpose
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant electrical systems and equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The role supports uninterrupted manufacturing operations by improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices while upholding the organization's safety and quality standards.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical Supervisor's License (where applicable) is preferred.
- Certification in PLCs, Industrial Automation, TPM, or Maintenance Management is an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in maintaining production machinery, plant utilities, LT electrical systems, and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, MCC panels, control panels, compressors, DG sets, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.
- Exposure to ISO systems, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and EHS practices is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, work at heights, and access electrical equipment during maintenance activities.
- Ability to lift and handle electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts as required.
- Willingness to work in shifts, during planned shutdowns, and attend emergency breakdowns whenever required.
- Ability to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.

Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for plant electrical equipment and utilities.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize machine downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maintain electrical systems including motors, drives, PLCs, VFDs, MCC panels, transformers, switchgear, compressors, DG sets, and power distribution systems.
- Monitor equipment performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Stores to ensure timely maintenance support and maximum equipment availability.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, and validation of new machines, equipment, and electrical systems.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory through CMMS or other maintenance systems.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, electrical safety standards, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), and company EHS policies.
- Monitor power consumption and support energy conservation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and service providers for specialized maintenance activities.
- Guide and support technicians in carrying out maintenance activities while promoting best maintenance practices and continuous improvement.
- Participate in TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
