IT Technicians / Cabling Technician – IT Passive Infrastructure
Role Objective :
To execute, maintain, and support IT passive infrastructure work including structured cabling, rack installation, and network readiness as per industry standards, ensuring high-quality, safe, and timely project delivery.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
1. Structured Cabling Execution Perform LAN cabling (Cat6/Cat6A/Fiber) as per approved layouts. Ensure proper routing, labelling, and dressing of cables. Maintain minimum bend radius and safety standards.
2. Rack & Hardware Installation Install network racks, patch panels, cable managers, and accessories. Mount switches, routers, and other passive components as per design. Ensure proper grounding and power alignment.
3. Termination & Testing Terminate UTP/Fiber cables using standard tools and color codes. Perform cable testing (Fluke/continuity testing). Share test reports with the project/team lead.
4. Fiber Cabling Support fiber laying, splicing coordination, and patching. Installa & Manage fiber tray and labeling.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
