Position: Project Manager/Site Engineer – Jetty / Marine Construction

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support jetty and marine construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for on-site execution, quality assurance, and technical supervision of construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute jetty/marine construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate daily site operations including manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor construction progress against project schedules and report deviations to project management.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities as required.
- Maintain site documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection records, and quality checklists.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and site HSE requirements.
- For Mechanical Engineers: oversee NDT inspection activities and ensure weld/material quality compliance using RT, UT, LPT, and MPT techniques.
- Support resolution of on-site technical and execution challenges.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years (or more) of relevant industry experience.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Jetty Construction, Marine Construction, or other On-Site Construction projects.
- Mumbai-based candidates preferred; willingness to work at project sites as required.
- For Mechanical Engineering candidates: ASNT Level-II certification in NDT techniques is mandatory, specifically:
- Radiographic Testing (RT)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of marine/jetty construction methodologies and site execution practices.
- Sound knowledge of relevant codes and quality/inspection standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently at site and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality compliance.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
