Job Description – Instrumentation & Maintenance Supervisor
Working Location - Mahad, (Additional MIDC), Dist.Raigad, Maharashtra
Position Summary
Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation, PLC/HMI systems, basic electrical equipment, and coordination of overall plant maintenance activities, including documentation, reporting, vendor management, procurement follow-up, and support to plant operations.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering (Mandatory).
- Basic electrical maintenance knowledge preferred.
- 3–5 years of industrial plant maintenance experience.
- Experience in process, manufacturing, or chemical plants preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of field instruments, transmitters, sensors, flow meters, level instruments, and control valves.
- Monitor and assist in troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems.
- Support maintenance of motors, MCC panels, control panels, DG sets, and utility systems.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams for maintenance planning.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, expense approvals, and follow up on purchase orders.
- Maintain calibration records, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety requirements and housekeeping standards.
