After building a strong community in Bangalore, we're now bringing Chakra to Bombay—and we're looking for someone who will help us build this chapter from the ground up.
The Role
As Studio Manager, you are the heartbeat of the studio.
You'll own everything that makes a rider's experience seamless—from the moment they walk through our doors until they leave wanting to come back. You'll lead the front-of-house team, ensure every class runs flawlessly, maintain exceptional operational standards, and build meaningful relationships with our community.

What You'll OwnStudio Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the studio.
- Ensure every class starts and ends on time.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation across the studio.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure all operational SOPs are followed consistently.
Community & Guest Experience
- Create a warm, welcoming experience for every rider.
- Build genuine relationships with members and remember returning riders.
- Handle customer concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Create moments of delight that make Chakra feel personal.
Team Management
- Lead and manage the front desk team.
- Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing.
- Train new team members on Chakra standards and hospitality.
- Conduct regular team check-ins and performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, kindness, and excellence.
Instructor & Class Operations
- Coordinate with instructors to ensure classes run smoothly.
- Ensure instructors have everything needed before class.
- Manage substitutions and operational changes.
- Support launch events, themed rides, and special activations.
Sales & Memberships
- Help convert trial riders into long-term members.
- Guide guests through memberships and pricing.
- Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Track studio performance and key metrics.
Inventory & Vendor Management
- Manage studio supplies, retail inventory, towels, and refreshments.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure equipment issues are reported and resolved promptly.
Administration
- Maintain accurate daily reports.
- Track attendance, memberships, and revenue.
- Coordinate with founders on operational improvements.
- Ensure all systems and software are updated accurately.
Who You Are
- 2–5 years of experience in hospitality, fitness, retail, premium customer experience, or operations.
- An exceptional people person with strong communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure and able to solve problems independently.
- Comfortable leading teams and giving feedback.
- Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Passionate about wellness, hospitality, and building communities.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience managing a fitness studio or gym.
- Experience with booking or CRM software.
- Retail or hospitality leadership experience.
- Experience managing customer service teams.
