Job Summary
International Delhi Public School, Gorantla (Kadiri Road), Sri Sathya Sai District, is inviting applications for the position of High School Science Teacher to teach Classes VI–X under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make scientific concepts engaging and practical for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Science lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for middle & high school).
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, and laboratory schedules.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure proper laboratory safety procedures.
- Design assignments, unit tests, projects, and examinations.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations (Grade X).
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support and remedial classes when necessary.
- Integrate technology and activity-based learning methods in teaching.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in science exhibitions, clubs, and co-curricular activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc.) in relevant subject (Physics/Chemistry/Biology)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at middle/high school level (CBSE preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Sound knowledge of CBSE syllabus and examination pattern
