Role Overview
The Hardware Purchase Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of IT infrastructure products for our channel business, including vendor management, pricing negotiations, inventory planning, order execution, and OEM/distributor coordination. The role will work closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure timely product availability, optimized procurement costs, and strong vendor partnerships that support business growth and project execution
Key Responsibilities:-
- Supplier/Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with hardware supplier sto secure the best pricing, credit terms, and partner programs.
- Inventory Control & Forecasting: Analyze sales trends and project demands to maintainoptimal inventory levels, reducing excess stock while avoiding shortages.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to minimize costsand improve profitability.
- Order Management: Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from generating Requestfor Quotations (RFQs) and issuing purchase orders (POs) to tracking shipments andmanaging receipts.
- Cost Optimization: Conduct market research to stay updated on technology trends andprice fluctuations to ensure competitive purchasing.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers for high-volume orlong-term contracts
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, andvendor contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience: 6+ years of purchasing experience who have worked in multiple state ,preferably from ( System Integrator, Reseller, or IT solutions provider)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or arelated field.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong abilities to negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and deliveryschedules.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis is amust and knowledge on Zoho Erp will added advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and cost scenarios.
- Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring a team of buyers or purchasing agents.
