We are looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Developer with 1–4 years of professional experience to join our growing development team in Mohali.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and backend web development. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and APIs while working closely with frontend developers, designers, project managers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases, queries, relationships, and stored procedures.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code following OOP and MVC principles.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with user-facing applications.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application errors and technical issues.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and security-related issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
- Use Git for version control and effective team collaboration.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Maintain and improve existing applications based on changing business and client requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest PHP, Laravel, and web development technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–4 years of professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and hands-on experience with Laravel.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
- Strong understanding of MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Laravel features such as Eloquent ORM, Blade, Routing, Middleware, Migrations, Authentication, and Queues.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with CodeIgniter or Symfony.
- Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of Redis, caching, queues, or background jobs.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
- Basic knowledge of Linux servers and deployment processes.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing using PHPUnit or similar tools.
- Experience working on e-commerce platforms or custom web applications.
- Portfolio or GitHub projects demonstrating Laravel development skills.
