The Store Keeper cum Driver is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, receiving and issuing materials, and safely transporting goods, documents, or personnel as required. The role combines warehouse/store management responsibilities with driving duties to support daily operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Keeping Duties
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Issue materials as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of the store area.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments regarding stock requirements.
Driving Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for transportation of goods and materials.
- Deliver and collect items from suppliers, customers, and project sites.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep.
- Monitor fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Keep records of trips, mileage, and vehicle inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driving license (LMV or applicable category).
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
